GKA provides a wide range of consulting services that include, but are not limited to, information assurance and computer forensics practices, training and education, and analysis of policies and procedures related to information systems.

Past and current activities include:

»   GKA has performed information security vulnerability assessment testing and remediation services for several local and international companies;
 
»   Gary consults with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, primarily related to mobile device examinations, law enforcement training, and public outreach education;
 
»   GKA performs computer and mobile device forensics examinations and acquisitions in many civil cases (sorry, GKA does not take criminal defense cases);
 
»   GKA performs examination and extraction of data from cell phone handsets, SIM cards, and memory expansion cards such as call history, SMS (text) messages, contact lists, and pictures; probative information related to many types of civil cases is increasingly found on cell phones and other mobile devices;
 
»   Gary is active in the industry, acting as a long-time Editorial Board member (and former Editor-in-Chief) of the Journal of Digital Forensics, Security and Law, a reviewer for Digital Investigations and other journals, and a member of the program committee of many academic and industry conferences; he has also been a frequent speaker at industry events ranging from the Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) annual conference to the National Cybe Crime Conference (NCCC); and
 
»   Gary has written many white papers, technology papers, and position papers, as well as numerous articles and book chapters.
 

Gary is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP).
